Miss. Munira Al Habsi holds a MSc. Degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Gloucestershire University (UK).

Munira has worked more than 18 years for one of the top Luxury Hospitality Environment in Oman as an Assistant Rooms Division Manager, showing testament to her hard work and commitment to service excellence. She is a true role-model for our students at Muscat Hospitality Academy.

We are privileged to have her part of the Muscat Hospitality Academy (MHA) team. Her latest venture with Muscat Hospitality Academy aims to support Oman in its 2040 Vision in driving tourism as a key enabler for economic diversification.

Lead Instructor F&B Service

Mr. Abdullad Al Busaidi has over 16 years’ experience working for leading International Hotels and Resorts throughout the World and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat.

Abdullah has worked for iconic 5-Star hotels, such as Sheraton Heathrow, London, Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah Resort, Dubai, and InterContinental Muscat – to name a few.

We are extremely proud to have Mr. Abdullad Al Busaidi as part of our MHA team and we value his extensive experience and exceptional standards to deliver service excellence, which will be highly appreciated by our students.

Lead Instructor Culinary

Chef Akhtar Ali Ansari has over 20 years’ experience working for leading International Hotels and Resorts throughout the world and as a senior culinary lecturer.

Chef Akhtar holds a BSc. Degree in Chemistry, a diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Tech. and Applied Nutrition, and a Highfields Food Safety - Level 3 Certification (HACCP), from United Kingdom.

Chef Akhtar has worked as an Executive Chef for leading 5-Star Hotels and Resorts, throughout the world, and has also worked as a dedicated culinary lecturer, with previous experience in The Sultanate of Oman. We are delighted to have him as part of our team, helping to shape the future of hospitality in The Sultanate of Oman.

English Language Instructor

Eman Elsawalhy is a creative and dedicated TESOL/CELTA-certified English instructor with a master’s degree in Languages and Translation, she has more than 11 years of experience in training adult students for ESL, ESP and IELTS/TOEFL preparation.

Eman has a track record for creating innovative lesson plans and facilitating a fun and inspirational classroom environment. She also has extensive experience in developing curricula as well as conducting teacher training sessions.

Eman has deep passion for teaching and is committed to encouraging students of diverse cultures to master the English language and develop enthusiasm for learning languages in general.

Lead Soft Skills Instructor

Sonia is a protean professional with over 15 years of diverse experience in the aviation and the service industry. She has an extensive background in steering L&D projects and creating training programs with a focus on delivering excellence.

Sonia Devi holds two bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Education. She is an accredited life and executive coach from International Coaching Federation (ICF-CCE) and a certified corporate trainer. She has facilitated deliverance of high-quality training as a soft skills and aviation trainer.

Among the leading airlines she has served are Oman Air, Qatar Airways, and Jet Airways. Sonia is passionate about talent development, service excellence and helping facilitate positive & long-lasting customer-business relationships.
